			[10] The Washington Defender Association A professional association for defenders across Washington State, WDA is committed to improving the quality of the defense bar. It provides training, publications and resources for defenders, and lobbies in support of legislative changes to improve the criminal justice system. WDA offers technical assistance free of charge to any attorney practicing public defense in Washington state. This includes support and consultation on misdemeanor or felony cases, and advice on cases involving non-citizen clients.
			[11] Washington State Office of Public Defense The State Office of Public Defense administers state funds appropriated for appellate indigent defense, develops administrative procedures, standards, and guidelines for appellate indigent defense services, and provides studies and recommendations to the Legislature regarding indigent defense services in Washington State. It does not administer or provide public defense services.
